Romantic Comedy Almost, Maine to Close February 12

John Cariani's Almost, Maine will end its run at the Daryl Roth Theatre on February 12. At the time it closes, it will have played 30 previews and 37 performances.

In Almost, Maine, residents of a small, northern town are falling in and out of love at an alarming rate. Love is discovered, hearts are broken and mended in this midwinter night's dream. Todd Cerveris, Justin Hagan, Miriam Shor and Finnerty Steeves star.

The play was a popular hit when it premiered in the fall of 2004 at the Portland Stage Company in Maine. Directed by Gabriel Barre, the production opened off-Broadway on January 12. In his Broadway.com Review of the romantic comedy, Rob Kendt wrote: "In John Cariani's utterly endearing new anthology play Almost, Maine, characters in love have to run their engines a while to get going, but the warmth is no less palpable for being so closely guarded."
