Martin Henderson Joins Juliette Lewis in West End Fool for Love

Martin Henderson will join previously announced star Juliette Lewis in the West End revival of Sam Shepard's Fool for Love. The drama will open at the Apollo Theatre on June 15, following previews from June 7.

Henderson is best known for his film work. The New Zealand born actor has notably had major roles in Windtalkers, The Ring, Torque and Bride & Prejudice. He also stars with Cate Blanchett and Sam Neill in Little Fish, which is due for international release later this year. Henderson trained at the Neighborhood Playhouse in New York. His theatrical credits include Ophelia Thinks Harder at the Samuel Beckett Theatre.

In Fool for Love, Lewis and Henderson play a pair of former lovers that meet at an isolated motel on the edge of the Mojave Desert for an explosive reunion in which dark secrets, gripping obsession and the deepest kind of love are exposed.

Lindsay Posner will direct Fool for Love. In addition to the stars namded above, Larry Lamb and Joe Duttine will also appear. There will be no performances on June 16 or June 17 owing to a prior commitment for Lewis to play a concert at Hyde Park with her band Juliette and the Licks, supporting the Foo Fighters.
