Broadway Grosses: Star Vehicles Draw Mixed Box Office Results

David Schwimmer, one of the latest Hollywood actors to hit the Great White Way, is making his Broadway debut in The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial, which opened May 7 to mixed reviews. During the week before opening night, the revival grossed $159,025, a slight increase from earlier preview performances, and played to 43.43% capacity at the Schoenfeld Theatre. Another star vehicle, Three Days of Rain, continued to draw fans of Julia Roberts, grossing $961,516 and playing to 100.21% capacity at the neighboring Jacobs Theatre.
