Harriell, Henderson and Narayan Set for Getting Home Off-Broadway

Marcy Harriell, Brian Henderson and Manu Narayan will star in Anton Dudley's Getting Home at the McGinn/Cazale Theatre. The production, which is being presented as part of the Second Stage Theatre Uptown series, is scheduled to begin previews on June 5.

Getting Home attempts to prove that anything can happen in New York. Once upon a time on the enchanted isle of Manhattan, Tristan Henderson found himself a free ride home from a prince in a yellow chariot. Jan Harriell found herself the object of two rival princes' affections. And Nilesh Narayan realized that heartache and self-torment have a shelf life of about six years.

Harriell was featured earlier this year in the Encores! mounting of Kismet. She is a Second Stage alum, having appeared in Michael John LaChiusa's Little Fish and Athol Fugard's Sorrows & Rejoicings for the company. Harriell was featured on the Great White Way earlier this season in Lennon. She also appeared on Broadway in Rent. Harriell was a series regular on Ed and Queens Supreme.

Henderson's New York stage credits include The Mistakes Madeline Made, As You Like It and In the Wings. He served as an understudy for Second Stage's production of The Little Dog Laughed.

Narayan is best known for playing slum dweller-turned-movie star Akaash in the Broadway tuner Bombay Dreams. His other theatrical credits include the recently-shuttered musical Sidd at Dodger Stages, Fucking A at the Public and the Yale Repertory Theater production of The People Next Door.

David Schweizer will direct Getting Home, opening June 14.
