Broadway Grosses: Ups and Downs at the Box Office

As the dog days of August wear on, Broadway's box office has taken a bit of a late summer dip. While nine shows played to more than 95% capacity including The History Boys, which must end its smash-hit run on October 1 a quartet of musicals The Producers, The Wedding Singer and the soon-to-close Sweeney Todd and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels hovered at around 60% capacity.
