The show's general manager, Carol Fishman, issued a statement explaining the delay: "The Paris that's been created by our Tony Award-winning design team is more elaborate than the typical off-Broadway show, and our technical rehearsals took longer than expected. In order to ensure that the audience sees the beautiful world that our designers intended, we needed to iron out a few final technical concerns."
