L.A. Drama Critics Circle Nominees Announced

The Circle X production of The Brothers Karamazov has received seven nominations from the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle for excellence in Los Angeles and Orange County theater for 2006, according to nominations announced today. The Valley Musical Theater staging of the '60s revue Beehive followed with five nominations. The Musical Theater Guild's production of A Man of No Importance at the Alex Theater in Glendale and South Coast Rep's Bach at Leipzig had four each. The 38th annual Los Angeles Performers receiving nominations included Cherry Jones, who reprised her Tony-winning performance in Doubt and Jay Johnson for his solo performance in Jay Johnson: The Two & Only!
