J.M. Barrie's Mary Rose Extends Through March 18 at the Vineyard

The off-Broadway revival of J.M. Barrie's Mary Rose will play an extra week at the Vineyard Theatre. Thanks to strong ticket sales in the play's first week of performances, the limited engagement will now run through March 18.

The Vineyard's production of Mary Rose is the first major revival in over 50 years of Peter Pan scribe Barrie's rarely seen play. The began performances on February 1 and stars Keir Dullea 2001: A Space Odyssey and Paige Howard, under the direction of Tina Landau. Opening night is set for February 20.

Barrie's Mary Rose is a haunting and lyrical tale of a young woman's disappearance and mysterious return to her family.

The cast also includes Betsy Aidem, Ian Brennan, Susan Blommaert, Michael Countryman, Tom Riis Farrell, Darren Goldstein, and Richard Short.

Mary Rose features set design by James Schuette, costume design by Michael Krass, lighting design by Kevin Adams, and original music and sound design by Obadiah Eaves.
