Cast Announced for New Off-Broadway Comedy Sealed For Freshness

The cast of the forthcoming off-Broadway comedy, Sealed for Freshness, will include Patricia Dalen, Brian Dykstra, Nancy Hornback, Kate Vandevender, J.J. Van Name and Jennifer Dorr White. Performances of Doug Stone's play start at New World Stages on February 15 with opening night set for February 24. Wright will also direct.

Set in the 1960s on a hilarious journey of self-discovery, Sealed for Freshness is the story of five mid-western women who believe in being good wives, good mothers and good neighbors. They were raised to trade their dreams, hopes and desires for social normsŠand now they want them back. These hermetically sealed, airtight lives unravel during a sidesplitting Tupperware party gone awry. The women of Sealed for Freshness are struggling with lost youth, missed opportunities -- and deviled egg containers. In other words, they're the original Desperate Housewives.

A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales to Sealed for Freshness will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
