TV Special Broadway Backstage: Spring Preview Highlights New Shows & Broadway.com

Broadway Backstage: Spring Preview will air on Channel 7, the local New York City ABC affiliate, on Saturday, March 24 from 7:30PM to 8PM. Hosted by Ugly Betty star and past Tony nominee Vanessa Williams and anchorman Joe Torres, the special will include previews of many upcoming Broadway shows as well as a special segment on Broadway.com.

The ABC cameras followed Broadway.com's crew backstage at Mary Poppins during the filming of our recent tour with leading man Gavin Lee and also visited the midtown Broadway.com offices for the piece.

Stars interviewed for the special, which was produced for WABC by Diane Oates, include David Hyde Pierce Curtains, Angela Lansbury Deuce, John Mahoney Prelude to a Kiss, Liev Schreiber Talk Radio, Michael Sheen Frost/Nixon, Hugh Dancy Journey's End and Jan Maxwell Coram Boy.
