Harrower's Blackbird Extends to 6/10

Manhattan Theatre Club's acclaimed production of David Harrower's Olivier Award-winning play Blackbird has been extended through June 10 at New York City Center Stage I. Jeff Daniels a Golden Globe nominee for The Squid and the Whale and Tony nominee Alison Pill The Lieutenant of Inishmore star, under the direction of Tony winner Joe Mantello Wicked, Assassins, Take Me Out.

One of the most talked-about plays to come out of London in years, Blackbird has been featured on many London critics' top 10 lists and recently received the 2007 Olivier Award for Best New Play. The play begins when Una shows up unexpectedly at the office of Ray, forcing Ray to come to terms with the effects of their previous relationship. Una pulls him into a gripping, surprising encounter.
