Lee Roy Reams has signed on to join the Las Vegas cast of The Producers as Roger DeBris, according to Variety. Reams will replace David Hasselhoff in the role at the Paris Las Vegas, beginning May 7.
Hasselhoff, who originated the role of DeBris for the Las Vegas version, will leave the show on May 6 to rejoin NBC's America's Got Talent reality series as a judge.
Reams is currently playing Roger in the Broadway production, which will close April 22. Before that, he played the role for two years in the first national company. His Broadway credits include An Evening With Jerry Herman, Hello Dolly!, Beauty and the Beast, Applause and Sweet Charity. He was nominated for a 1981 Tony Award for 42nd Street. He serves as resident director of the Theatre Guild's Theatre at Sea.
