Casting Complete for Chicago Company of Jersey Boys

Casting has been announced for the upcoming Chicago production of Jersey Boys, set to play at the LaSalle Bank Theatre. The Four Seasons will played by Drew Gehling as Bob Gaudio, Michael Ingersoll as Nick Massi, Jeremy Kushnier as Tommy DeVito and Jarrod Spector as Frankie Valli. Performances begin on October 6 and will run through April 13, 2008.

Gehling was recently seen at Paper Mill Playhouse in Hello, Dolly! and Moby Dick at New York Theatre Workshop. Ingersoll can be seen in the film Walk the Line and was last seen in Chicago as Jonathan in tick…tick…BOOM!. Kushnier made his Broadway debut as Ren in Footloose and went on to star as Roger in Rent and Radames in Aida. Spector has been seen on the national tour of Les Miserables and played Frankie Valli in the first national tour of Jersey Boys.

The ensemble of the Chicago company of Jersey Boys will include Lyndsey Cole, John Michael Coppola, John Michael Dias, Eddie Driscoll, Mike Erickson, Steven M. Goldsmith, John Hickman, Craig Laurie, Lauren Marshall, Wade McCollum, Rashad Naylor, Jenny Lee Ramos, Jake Speck, Kara Tremel and Ryan Quinn West.

Jersey Boys follows the rags-to-riches tale of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons as they work their way from the streets of Newark to the heights of stardom, and features such hits as "Sherry," "Big Girls Don't Cry," "Can't Take My Eyes Off of You," "Oh, What a Night" and many more. Jersey Boys is written by Academy Award-winner Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, with music by Bob Gaudio, lyrics by Bob Crewe, direction by Des McAnuff and choreography by Sergio Trujillo.
