Academy Award nominee David Strathairn Good Night, and Good Luck will join the off-Broadway company of Zak Berkman's Beauty on the Vine on May 29 for the final week of the show's run, according to Variety. Strathairn, who had starred in Epic Theater Center's 2004 production of Hannah and Martin, will replace the departing Victor Slezak at the Clurman Theatre on Theater Row.
Beauty on the Vine, which also stars Olivia Wilde, Barbara Garrick, Helen Piper Coxe, Howard Overshown and Jessica Richardson, follows the investigation of a conservative radio host's murder. Strathairn will play the murder victim's father through the end of the play's run on June 3.
