J.A.P. Show Set to Close and Head South for the Winter

The J.A.P Show, subtitled "Jewish American Princesses of Comedy," plans to end its off-Broadway run at the Actors Temple Theatre "by October 1," according to a production release. The show, written by Cory Kahaney and directed by Dan Fields, opened on April 9. After closing off-Broadway, The J.A.P. Show will begin performances at an unspecified downtown Miami venue on December 20, followed by an engagement at Palm Beach's Kravis Center.

The J.A.P. Show stars a rotating roster of New York's funniest Jewish female comics, including Kahaney, Jessica Kirson, Julie Goldman, Adrienne Tolsch, and Sherry Davey. The live performance, peppered with vintage footage of the original queens of comedy such as Totie Fields, enables these proud princesses to share the stage with their royal predecessors.
