Aubrey O'Day of pop singing group Danity Kane will make her Broadway debut as Amber Von Tussle in Hairspray beginning July 18 at the Neil Simon Theatre. O'Day, a veteran of MTV's Making the Band 3, will be appearing opposite Ashley Parker Angel Link Larkin, who starred in the first incarnation of Making the Band. O'Day got her start onstage at age four as Molly in a production of Annie and went on to star in regional theater productions of The Wizard of Oz, Fame, Grease, The Sound of Music, A Chorus Line and Fiddler on the Roof.
