Broadway Grosses: Box Office Remains Tepid

It was another so-so week on Broadway, though the grosses took a welcome if slight upturn from the previous week. Only the top five shows rose above 90% of capacity, with the majority running between 60% and 70%. Six new shows will begin previews on the Great White Way before the end of the September, including Frank Langella in A Man for All Seasons, which played its first five performances at the American Airlines Theatre.
