Clint Holmes will headline a New York Pops concert at Carnegie Hall on November 7 with "special guests" Ashley Brown, Laura Bell Bundy and Linda Hart. Titled "A Love Letter to New York," the evening will feature classic songs about New York City and the world premiere of original songs by composer Kenneth Laub. The program also includes songs by Stephen Sondheim and Cole Porter. Bundy, Hart and Holmes will make their Carnegie Hall debuts. The New York Pops is led by conductor/pianist Vincent Falcone and veteran Broadway conductor Eric Stern.
A popular Las Vegas headliner, Holmes has written several musicals, including Comfortable Shoes, which was produced at the Paper Mill Playhouse. Brown is currently playing the title role in the Broadway production of Mary Poppins. Bundy, the original star of Broadway's Legally Blonde, co-starred with Hart in the original Broadway cast of Hairspray as the mother-daughter team of Amber and Velma Von Tussle.
