Following an eight-performance run spelling for the vacationing Michael McGuire in early September, Cullum joins the cast as family patriarch Beverly Weston, taking over for current star McGuire. McGuire is departing for London's forthcoming production of the show, which begins on November 21. Warren joins as the youngest daughter of the Weston clan, Karen, while Ross takes over the role of housekeeper Johnna Monevata, with the pair replacing current cast members Maryann Mayberry and Kimberly Guerrero, respectively, both of whom are London-bound as well.
Cullum received Tony Awards for his performances in On The Twentieth Century and Shenandoah, and he received Tony nominations for On a Clear Day You Can See Forever and Urinetown. Additional Broadway credits include Camelot, 1776, Doubles, All My Son,Old Money, Hamlet, Boys in Autumn, Trip Back Down and Show Boat. His TV credits include Northern Exposure, ER and Law & Order: SVU. Film credits include Night Listener, Betty Page, Secret Life of Algernon, 1776, Sweet Country, Marie, All the Way Home and Hawaii.Ross makes her Broadway debut with August: Osage County. Off-Broadway credits include Romeo and Juliet, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Pieces Of Ass and War W/The Newts. On television, she has appeared on Sex And The City, Chicago Hope and Guiding Light.
Warren also makes her Broadway debut with August. Last season, she starred off-Broadway in Adding Machine, for which she received Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle, and Lucille Lortel nominations for Best Supporting Actress. Additional off-Broadway credits include When the Messenger is Hot, Mother Courage and Her Children, House of Lily, The Weir and Whispering City. Regionally, she has appeared in Rabbit Hole, Heartbreak House, and Trojan Women, all at Chicago’s Goodman Theatre.
