Betty Buckley Signs On for Four-Week Run at Feinstein's

Tony winner Betty Buckley has signed on for a four-week run of her new cabaret show “Broadway By Request” at Feinstein’s at Loews Regency. Featuring rare video footage and occasional special guests, the show will run from February 10 to March 7 at the Regency Hotel, featuring Seth Rudetsky and directed by Richard Jay-Alexander.

Buckley will perform selections picked by the audience from her stellar career in musicals such as Cats, Sunset Boulevard, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Song and Dance and more. Because of the participation of the audience, the show will be different every night.

Buckley won a Tony Award for her performance as Grizabella in Cats, a Tony nomination for her performance as Hesione in Triumph of Love and an Olivier Award nomination for playing Norma Desmond in the London production of Sunset Boulevard. Other notable musicals from which audience members can make requests include Gypsy at the Paper Mill Playhouse the cult musical flop Carrie, Bob Fosse’s Pippin and Buckley’s Broadway debut performance as Martha Jefferson in 1776. In London, she starred Fran Kubelik in Promises, Promises. Her most recent CDs are Quintessence and Betty Buckley 1967.
