Eden Espinosa to Debut Solo Show at Joe’s Pub

Eden Espinosa is bringing her first solo show, Eden Espinosa – Me, to New York. The show, which promises special-guest appearances, has been booked at Joe’s Pub from March 22 through 24. Broadway regular Billy Porters will direct, with music direction from James Samplinger.

Wicked’s original Elphaba standby on Broadway, Espinosa took over the role in January 2006, and has since played the role in San Francisco and Los Angeles. She also appeared on Broadway in Rent and Brooklyn.

Eden Espinosa – Me comes to New York after three sold-out standing room only engagements at Upright Cabaret in Los Angeles, which Espinosa performed during Wicked’s last month at the Pantages Theatre and featured a special guest every night.
