The Tony-winning musical Jersey Boys won top musical honors at the 33rd Annual Laurence Olivier Awards. Also on top were the National Theatre of Scotland's production of Gregory Burke's Black Watch, which won four awards, and the Donmar Warehouse, which had garnered a total of 13 nominations, and picked up four trophies. In other notable news, former Evita star Elena Roger won the Best Actress in a Musical category for her performance in Piaf, and Yasmina Reza’s new work, God of Carnage, which is set to open on Broadway with an American cast on March 22, won Best Comedy. The event, hosted by actor James Nesbitt, was held at London's Grosvenor Hotel on March 8.
