Three Sisters will be Doyle’s first non-musical production in America. His recent work on New York stages includes three collaborations with Stephen Sondheim: the Broadway revival of Sweeney Todd, which earned Doyle a 2006 Best Director Tony, Company and Road Show.
Ruhl’s recent New York productions include The Clean House, Eurydice and Dead Man’s Cell Phone. She will make her Broadway debut in the fall with Lincoln Center Theater’s production of In the Next Room or The Vibrator Play.
Doyle's creative team for Three Sisters will include costume designer Ann Hould-Ward, scenic designer Scott Pask and lighting designer Jane Cox.
