Broadway Grosses: Numbers Take a Post-Spring Break Dip

The Spring Breakers have left the city, and the majority of Broadway box offices took a dip, particularly shows that appeal to families. With 35 titles vying for attention including an impressive 16 plays, there’s plenty for audiences to choose from on the Great White Way. God of Carnage and Hair are among the newcomers playing to near-capacity audiences, and West Side Story and Billy Elliot continue in the top five among grosses.
