The Williamstown Theatre Festival has announced casting for Jonathan Marc Sherman’s Knickerbocker, the first show of its 2009 Nikos Stage season.
The world premiere parenthood comedy—which will be helmed by WTF Artistic Director Nicholas Martin and runs July 8-19—will feature Brooks Ashmanskas Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me, She Loves Me, Bob Dishy Sly Fox, The Price, Annie Parisse Becky Shaw, Rightor Doyle, Reg Rogers Holiday, Theresa Rebeck’s The Understudy at Williamstown, and Peter Dinklage The Station Agent, who in 2007 costarred off-Broadway with Zoe Kazan, Josh Hamilton and Paul Dano in Sherman’s Things We Want.
In other WTF news, Bradley Cooper has exited the July 15-26 Main Stage production of True West. On May 15, it was announced that big-screen heartthrob Cooper The Hangover, He’s Just Not That Into You would be replacing former Daily Show correspondent Rob Corddry in the Sam Shepard drama, which co-stars Rob’s real-life brother Nate. Cooper’s successor hasn’t been revealed.
