"As much tribute as revival, the spirit of Fosse's genius never leaves the stage, and Chicago, under Walter Bobbie's sharp direction, will dazzle newcomers to the trademark Fosse dance style and provide a thrilling reminder to those who've seen it before just how smart, sexy and exciting this brand of choreography was, or rather, is."

Fantastic Performances
"We originally planned our trip to NY to see Whitney and while purchasing the tickets we did not see anywhere on the ticketing site that she was not performing this day. We didn’t realize she wasn’t performing until a few weeks out but since everything had been planned for a few months and since we do like broadway, we were a little bummed but still were excited to go. The performances from the entire cast was SO good. Dylis Croman was hilarious! And Sophie Carmen-Jones is a star. Forgive me but whoever played the the six jurors was so funny as well. Our seats were in the front on the corner of the stage which made some things hard to see with the chair on stage that was positioned there. The bathroom line was very long at intermission we opted to not go. But all in all a fantastic show. "

AMAZING
"I absolutely loved this show. The humor, the storyline, it was amazing! 1000% recommend going & extra points to get to see Whitney as Roxie Hart! There’s definitely adult humor and some vulgar language that would may deter you from taking your kiddos but I wouldn’t give it a hard no for them! "

Entire cast was phenomenal
"I went to this show with no prior knowledge of the story of Chicago but to see Whitney Leavitt and let me first just say she did not disappoint. What I wasn’t expecting was every member of the cast to be equally as incredible and standout as her. The production, lighting, the cast, the theatre- stunning. A night to remember. "

I loved every bit of it
"I thought that having the orchestra right up on stage was a really cool part of it. You could see that most of the musicians played multiple instruments. The director also played a role as a narrator of sorts. The music was great. The dancing was great. The story was easy to follow and fun. I liked that the performers who weren't in a particular scene were still in it along the sides. The set was simple, but it really was just right! I went with my age 20 something granddaughters and wasn't sure what to expect, but it was great! I loved it!"

5 Stars for Chicago on Broadway: Wow, Wow, Wow
"Seeing Chicago on Broadway was pure magic. From the very first moment, the energy in the theater was electric and the entire production just pulls you in. The cast? Absolutely incredible. Truly a 10 out of 10 across the board. Every performer was sharp, charismatic, and completely locked in. The choreography was tight, the vocals were powerful, and the whole show moved with that bold, confident rhythm that makes Chicago so iconic. And Whitney Leavitt… wow. She was meant for the stage. Completely magnetic. Watching her step into this world felt so natural, like she belongs under those lights. And VELMA? A knockout. Every number, every moment, just commanding the stage in the best way. The music is as iconic as ever. Hearing it live with that orchestra and a cast that fully delivers every beat gave me chills more than once. The entire show is sleek, funny, sharp, and timeless. One of those performances where you walk out of the theater still buzzing from how good it was. Five stars. Wow, wow, wow. Just incredible."

Spectacular
"We came to see Whitney Leavitt, who exceeded our expectations alone, but the entire cast was absolutely mind blowing and the amount of talent and stamina we witnessed on stage was just incredible. One of my bucket list items was to see a Broadway production and I cannot express enough how much joy seeing this brought me. Sophie Carmen-Jones (Velma), you are an absolute powerhouse and the PERFECT person to play Velma. Greg Hildreth (Amos), your voice and small physical movements were so good- you nailed the role. I absolutely loved when you were on stage. Whitney Leavitt (Roxie)- my favorite parts were when you were being puppeteered by Billy Flynn and the trial, your facial expressions and movements were *chefs kiss. Jacqueline B. Arnold (Mama), your VOICE, your stage presence!!! AND the band- WOW! I could go on and on. We had so much fun and I am just blown away that there is that amount of talent in the world. Thank you ALL for so much hard work and dedication. "

About Chicago

Set in the legendary city during the roaring “jazz hot” 20s, Chicago tells the story of two rival vaudevillian murderesses locked up in Cook County Jail. Nightclub star Velma’s serving time for killing her husband and sister after finding the two in bed together. Driven chorus girl Roxie’s been tossed in the joint for bumping off the lover she’s been cheating on her husband with. Not one to rest on her laurels, Velma enlists the help of prison matron Mama Morton and slickster lawyer Billy Flynn, who turn Velma’s incarceration into a murder-of-the-week media frenzy, thus preparing the world for a splashy showbiz comeback. But Roxie’s got some of her own tricks up her sleeve…
