An Unexpected Treat
"I’ve only seen the movie Chicago so I was not sure what to expect. I loved having the orchestra on stage & interacting with the characters. I loved the simplicity with no real sets & only props. The acting & singing were superb especially the understudy Jeff Sullivan as Billie Flynn.
And the extra songs that were cut from the movie were a real treat. It was much more comical than the movie so it really felt like a different experience. I would highly recommend it to everyone who only knows Chicago the movie. "

"Chicago on Broadway was absolutely incredible. The show delivered high energy, sharp choreography, and that classic jazz-era edge that makes it unforgettable. Whitney was phenomenal!! Her stage presence, vocals, and confidence were next level. She truly owned every moment she was on stage. Mark Ballas was amazing as well, simply outstanding, bringing charisma, precision, and intensity to the performance. Overall, it was bold, polished, and so worth it.
I do wish the ushers did a better job at crowd control. There were a lot of people standing up, moving around, and causing distractions during the act, which took away from some of the immersive moments."

Chicago--NYC--Alive with talent and sass!
"Cast was talented/nimble/engaging. Costumes were athletically spot on for the time period/dance scenes. Hair was amazing--kept trying to figure out how the curls stayed in through all of the dancing and humidity! Hosts were involved/informative. Playbill filled the intermission time well with entertaining info.
