Chicago on Broadway delivers an outstanding theatrical experience anchored by exceptional performances across all elements of production. The cast consistently receives praise for their remarkable talent, confidence, and charisma, with standout performances and the ensemble's brilliant execution of Fosse's iconic choreography. The show's greatest strengths are its spectacular dancing and choreography, sensational singing, and phenomenal orchestra performance, with reviewers particularly impressed by the dancers' precision, stamina, and athleticism, as well as the live band's engaging interaction with performers. The production also excels in its vibrant costumes, clear diction, and energetic pacing that maintains audience engagement throughout. Minor criticisms include the story feeling somewhat dated after 30 years of the show's run and occasional concerns about theater seating comfort, though these issues do not significantly detract from the overall experience. The show comes highly recommended as a must-see Broadway production that successfully transforms familiar material into a fresh, captivating live experience, making it an excellent choice for both first-time Broadway attendees and returning theater enthusiasts.

Absolutely amazing!
"This is the second time I’ve seen Chicago. The cast is outstanding, the orchestra is amazing, the theatre staff are welcoming, I could go on and on. If you’ve never seen Chicago, what are you waiting for?! It’s a classic. The music, choreography, and story are iconic. We had the pleasure of seeing Ariana Madix as Roxy, and were blown away. The entire cast was excellent (Amra-Faye Wright, Red Concepción, Max von Essen, Mary Claire King, and everyone were all truly wonderful)."

Better than anticipated.
"The entire show was very entertaining and performed professionally. The vocals and dancing were top notch. The old theatre was authentic. The humour was good and we left feeling entertained. The seats were a little compact for me but I guess people are getting bigger."

"Stage set very simple but works great! View good from within balcony. Dance routines great. Lyrics sometimes a little hard to hear over orchestra (could turn up singer’s mic volume). Overall great"

"Absolutely stunning performance. Entertainment at its finest. Seats are a little small, but the show made you forget all about it. This was my first Broadway experience and I plan on it NOT being my last. Cannot wait to get back for another show!"

Great tunes and well sung & danced
"The story, songs, and lyrics are all great and were delivered with ease and panache. The theater is intimate but crowded seating leaves little room for stretching your feet and toes. Ambasador theater needs more bathrooms!"

Still Awesome!
"Having seen Chicago a few times before, this cast delivers a great show. The Bob Fosse choreography always wows the audience. I would like a bit more enunciation from Mary Sunshine, but otherwise a stellar performance. "

First ever Broadway Show
"This show was spectacular! The whole cast did a wonderful job. I had splurged for the best seat in the house 2nd row center (Birthday gift). To be so close, I felt involved! As a former performer, at the curtain call I was crying when the cast took their bows. It was very emotional for me. Outside of this spectacular performance, this not only was my first show, but my first time to NY and I was solo. I felt so accomplished as I was completing my own bucklist goal of seeing a show. Afterward, I was able to have some of the cast sign my playbill and just talking to them brought tears to my eyes as i thanked them for such an amazing experience! I had such a wonderful time! Highly recommend, especially if you love the movie!"
