Classic story with a great cast
"This is a great play to return to Broadway but it needs a good cast. In this case everyone was great….with Nathan and Laurie and Christopher and Ben the standouts. It may not be present day but it works!!!!!"

Insane. Incredibly intense.
"There is nothing negative to say. A true play. Actors were amazing. It was truly unexpected. Not really knowing the play was a plus. If you don't know the play, don't look up the plot; just see it. Throughout the play, with a packed house, you could hear a pin drop for many minutes and at the same time there were many funny moments. After the standing ovation, as people were leaving, there was an eerie quiet. We met people on the street leaving and we were still moved in a way that we all agreed was hard to explain. Nothing can match what we witnessed. You have to experience it for yourselves, just no children. "

Extraordinary, gut-wrenching
"This show must not be missed. The acting is absolutely amazing, stellar, extraordinary. The cast could not be any better. The performances are so realistic that I got so engrossed and engaged that I forgot I was in a theatre, and it felt like I was witnessing the characters as real, to the depths of their souls."

Great Adaptation of a VERY Depressing Play
"First, Laurie Metcalf is a goddess! Her performance was so believable and utterly painful. She was perfection. All of the actors were great. If there is anyone who does not know this story, it is not a play you will walk out of dancing and singing. Arthur Miller really understood the times and the culture he was living in, and it is just as relevant today. "

This is drama at its finest. It will core you out .
"A searing interpretation of Arthur Miller's masterpiece. Having seen this play twice on Broadway over the past twenty years, this by far is the finest presentation of the script. No nuance is lost. The interplay of Nathan Lane and Laura Metcalf is nothing short of magical in the deepest sense of the human experience. The set is wonderfully stark and also speaks to the essence of the play. If theater is meant to "connect" with the viewer in a meaningful and potentially life-changing manner, this production hits home."

Riveting and teeming with talent
"This production is outstanding! The performances by Nathan Lane and cast are mesmerizing. The blending of past and present, reality and fantasy is seamless. Arthur Miller’s play is timeless, exposing layers of complex emotions, dashed hopes, dreams of glory, family dynamics, and the mental gymnastics of Willy Loman and his loved ones. I cried and laughed, gasped, and sighed. I’ll be thinking about this play for a long time. "

A Heartbreaking Masterclass
"Whether you’ve read the play a dozen times or are seeing it for the first time, this revival breathes fresh, painful life into a classic. It’s a haunting reminder of how easily we can lose ourselves in the pursuit of "being well-liked." Don't miss it if you want to see acting at its absolute finest. Nathan Lane and Lori Metcalf show us what acting is all about. They were amazing."

Nathan Lane on Broadway
"Well staged, incredibly acted performance! Both Mr. Lane and Ms. Metcalf are remarkable talents whose skills are amply displayed here. The supporting cast members add much to the show, making the time from the opening curtain to the final curtain a wonderful experience. Mr. Lane is flawless - worth the price of admission - and Ms. Metcalf adds depth and character to her role. Not for kids, but my recommendation is go, Go, GO!"

Every Line An Eye-Opener!
"This universal play was expertly crafted by a cast of magnificent actors and an exceptionally creative director. Nathan Lane evokes pity and impatience for Willy so much so that the audience wants to grab him by the shoulders and shake some sense into him. Laurie Metcalf played the ever-supporting, never-judicious Linda with the grace of a juggler. Joe Mantello, director, gave a thought-provoking twist on his choice of Charley, Willy's neighbor, and the method by which he revamped Charley's final speech into today's modern English. Audible chuckles at the beginning of the play turned into dead silence, and ultimately followed by sobs. The audience was spellbound! Death of A Salesman is as timely now as it was when it first appeared on stage in 1949. Bravo to this performance!"
