Must see Every Brilliant Thing!
"Tracee Ellis Ross did a fantastic job performing this show! Audience participation is involved and she directed the people joining her performance from the crowd very well and stayed in character. It was funny, sad, thought provoking and sometimes very serious. The message was what every human should know. The only thing that I didn’t like was sometimes I couldn’t hear what the people picked from the audience was saying. This was my only complaint. Go see this production!"

Lived up to its name in every brilliant way
"Listening to Mariska deliver a story of happiness, heartache, and the human condition—a story not her own, but one so many people can relate to, and if not, then, as she put it, "You likely haven't actually lived"—was about as real as it gets.
It was a reminder of just how far I've come... not just to New York City, but in life.
As I sat there listening, I couldn't help but think about my own list of brilliant things.
I've experienced homelessness and hopelessness. I've searched for purpose because I think, as humans, purpose is something we're all wired to seek, yet so many of us struggle to find. We go through the motions because the alternative is to do nothing—and doing nothing somehow feels even heavier than not knowing what to do.
Life has a funny way of handing us chapters we never asked to write. Some leave us bruised. Some leave us grateful. Most leave us changed.
Maybe that's what makes the brilliant things so brilliant in the first place. They're often small. Unexpected. Easy to overlook if we're only focused on what's missing.
A Broadway show. A city that once felt impossibly far away. A dream that refused to die. The people who've believed in me when I struggled to believe in myself.
Sometimes the most brilliant thing isn't the destination.

Great way to experience broadway for the first time
"This was my first ever experience with broadway and it has set the bar very high. The theater was super easy to get into. Seats were up in the balcony (three rows from the back) but the sight line and sound was AMAZING!! Mariska was phenomenal!! The play itself was emotional, funny, heartwarming and eye opening! I would certainly recommend and wonder how each show with different leads would be. 10/10 would recommend and would see again!! "
