Engaging till the end
"What a surprising treat the show turned out to be. I didn’t know much about it beforehand but love Tracie and couldn’t wait to see her on Broadway. The subject matter, the delivery, audience participation…all top tier. I connected with the story and found myself laughing, crying, and reminiscing. I hate that it’s ending so soon because I absolutely would recommend this to my friends, and probably would see it again. Bravo!"

Tracy breathed life into this character!
"From the moment the play began, it felt like we were sitting in my living room and she was sharing this story with a close group of friends. It felt so real that I couldn't discern if this was a tale or bits of her life."

Tracee was Tracee
"Only that some verbal audience participation could not be heard clearly and if due to poor microphones or lack of anunciation, seemed an easy fix. Purposefully didnt read anything or discuss anything about the play. Went for Tracee!!! Went with my grown daughter (who Did devour all info, by the way). We both were happy with our decision. Both cried and laughed, albeit at different things. Just . MARVELOUS from every aspect."

Brilliant
"Traces Ellis Ross did an amazing job in this 1 person show, that used audience members as part of it. Dealing with topics of depression, death, and suicide she was emotional, funny, witty, and engaging. Would highly recommend that you see this show. One thing I wished was better was some of the audience members were hard to hear/understand when their # was called. Overall though- Brilliant! "

Brilliantly Excellent!
"I enjoyed everything about the show. Tracee Ellis Ross is one of my favorite actresses. The storyline resonates with modern day challenges, hopes and dreams. To appreciate every thing that exists in ordinary things, is a powerful reminder that when life feels overwhelming, we can shift our focus to small, existing "glimmers" that can completely change how we experience the world."

Bring Tissue Because I Didn’t
"I don’t cry often if ever, but the first few minutes I teared up. The storyline was powerful, and the audience interaction truly made this one of the best Broadway shows I’ve seen! It was definitely worth the plane ride to go see it. "

Run to See Every Brilliant Thing
"In a unique, poignant, beautiful play that addresses the difficult topic of mental health & suicide, Tracy Ellis Ross makes a sad subject hopeful & joyful. She single handedly commands the room & invites audience participation, which leaves certain scenes vulnerable to the unexpected - in very funny ways. We laughed and cried. What a wonderful way to portray one of life’s big struggles. "

A Phenomenal Show
"Tracee Ross is a very talented artist/performer. Engaging the audience with their different personalities and roles added brilliantly to the show. Suicide and depression can be very gloomy but this play lightened the theme. Thank you!!!"

Tracee Ellis Ross’s performance is absolutely phenomenal!
"Tracee Ellis Ross’s performance in Every Brilliant Thing was absolutely flawless and beautifully executed. As you know, she’s easy on the eyes, but what truly impressed me was her incredible diversity and wit, which shone through her characters’ distinct personalities. I was on cloud nine coming out of the Hudson Theatre, and I still am. So, don’t hesitate to make the sacrifice of buying good seats because Tracee’s performance is well worth it. It will be an unforgettable experience to watch and engage in."

Must see Every Brilliant Thing!
"Tracee Ellis Ross did a fantastic job performing this show! Audience participation is involved and she directed the people joining her performance from the crowd very well and stayed in character. It was funny, sad, thought provoking and sometimes very serious. The message was what every human should know. The only thing that I didn’t like was sometimes I couldn’t hear what the people picked from the audience was saying. This was my only complaint. Go see this production!"

It was fun, the audience participation was amazing, it was sad and touching and moving!!! I highly recommend it but don't know how the next performer will do but it is a great play!"
