Incredible! A Must See!
"What a beautifully done, thought provoking and entertaining show! From the incredible performance by Daniel Radcliffe to the ability of the writer/producer/director to present a sensitive subject in a way that includes and captivates the audience. How do our individual actions affect others? Do we reach out our hand? Can we make a difference? Absolutely loved it! Well Done! "

Brilliant evening at the theatre
"The preparation for the show is almost as interesting as the show. I was surprised and overjoyed to meet Daniel and for him to ask me to yell out the phrase on a card in response to his shouting out a particular number. It was fun and Daniel Radcliffe is exceptional. Funny, heartwarming, sad, teary and, in the end, hopeful. Experience it for yourself!"

Simply Brilliant
"A funny, nuanced, and engaging show. Frank and honest discussion about mental health and of depression as a generational struggle. Daniel gives a fantastic performance from start to finish. He blended so seamlessly into the role that I forgot I was watching an actor perform. "

Brilliant!
"Daniel Radcliffe was wonderful in this interactive play, that felt more like a group discussion. He was greeting people for 30 minutes before the show began and getting people to agree to participate, from reading lines printed on a card, to playing small roles on stage. This was so fun, and a great way to bring increased awareness to the struggles of depression."

Bittersweet, poignant, ultimately rewarding
"Daniel Radcliffe is amazing - his energy and wit are astounding. He is one of the best improvisers I have seen, since he has to respond to an unpredictable audience. He leads the audience through very high highs and very deep lows. It is a highly emotional show - I wouldn't recommend for children. But at the end of the day, one of the best plays I've seen in a long time and I'm so glad we got to see it."

Best show I have seen in a long time!
"I highly recommend it! Daniel Radcliffe is a wonderfully talented and charming actor. His interaction with the audience is so natural that one might think it was a social gathering rather than a theatrical performance. The subject matter is a highly important, timely, and socially relevant issue—one that must not be ignored and that evokes a great deal of emotion."

Found Healing In a "Genuine and Heart-shaped" Performance
"Here's the thing... I have dealt with clinical depression for years. And I knew very well that I was heading into a play about depression and suicide, but this play surprised me. It was the delicacy in which Mr. Radcliffe delivered it that affected me the most. He made every one of us feel safe. And I can't say that was all an act, it was genuine and heart-shaped. The gentle message of hope within the messy parts of life renewed me in a way I have yet to uncover. This is a very brave play, and its star, Daniel Radcliffe, tackles the subject matter with confidence, knowing that here in this moment, he is communicating to the secret chamber in our heart. He is changing lives. Changing and even saving lives. And for someone who is so publicly known to have a chance to interact so casually with others must be a gift for him as well. The production team was clever in their selections of participants, reading the room and helping create a new, unique performance. That made it even more special. The broken parts of me were seen and celebrated with lines like "If you haven't felt depressed, then you're not paying attention." This single statement stuck with me. It gave me better insight to the truthfulness of it, and somehow I felt less alone by hearing it. It's a rare gem of a show, and it came at the perfect time. We are all in need of a list of every brilliant thing in our lives right now. I know I do, and I am profoundly grateful I chose this play. It has changed me "

Insanely Brilliant, Creative and Emotional
"This performance is an empaths dream. I cried within the first five minutes. Then I laughed so hard I cried more. I was hanging onto every word, and Daniel’s crowd work is something to experience. Suicide is simply not talked about enough and Daniel’s story displayed it. “We don’t know the how or the why to it.” What a message. My cousin committed suicide a few years ago. His wife is still struggling to understand and blames herself most days. My grandmother was with me for this show and I feel it brought her some peace of mind. To know we never will know why. We will never understand it and that is okay. We do not have to. It doesn’t matter and it doesn’t define them. There are things that are still good in this world. Several brilliant things. To bring us hope, courage and love. So thank you, Daniel. There was a moment during the show when Daniel called out a number and there wasn’t an answer for it yet, and someone called out in the silent theater “Daniel Radcliffe” to add to the list of brilliant things. Everyone got a laugh from it but I agree. You are certainly on my list of brilliant things Daniel Radcliffe."

Wonderful storytelling with audience involvement adding to the story line.
"Enjoyed the premise of the event with audience participation. Great story line dealing with difficult subject matter often lightened by humor. The narrative at times was too quickly spoken...hard to understand. Added to that, the theatre was in the round...so acoustics suffered. Some audience participants were brilliant....some difficult to understand through monotone dialogue. With that said, had a wonderful time."

heartrending, joyful and participatory
"being cynical comes easily these days. in fairness, there's much in the world to be cynical about. this show is not one of those things. it truly is many brilliant things: a gifted, charming narrator. a deeply personal story making many salient points without pontificating. The audience participation felt like a gift to all assembled. Generous, witty and unforced in its benevolence. Kudos to Daniel Radcliffe and the production team for bringing this unique experience to Broadway. Truly remarkable."
