Painfully Beautiful
"Daniel was a brilliant thing in Every Brilliant Thing. Had me in tears throughout along with sprinkles of laughter, joy and sorrow. I don't think it could have been a better performance. He made sure everything that should happen to you during a performance happened. Brought back memories, made me think deeper and feel things I hadn't allowed for a long time. It was very moving and I would recommend seeing this performance. It is a reminder of lifes impacts and the people in it. Daniel effortlessly interacted with so many in attendance and truly made you feel special if he had the opportunity. "Right before I went to the theater last night, I received news that a colleague (and friend) had died. The cause of death, while not directly related to the subject matter of this play, likely pertains to mental health. Sitting in the theater, watching this play that literally shines a light on "every brilliant thing" in the world and in life, I was moved and all the more saddened. Theater does this - it can do this and it should do this. This play reminds you that life is a gift and considers, to a lesser extent, how people forget this.
