Extraordinary vocals, lyricism and dancing
"This show bar exceeded my expectations even having read so many stellar reviews. The choreography, singing, vocals, and lyrics moved me to tears multiple times throughout the story, which was relatable in so many levels. The characters of Ali, Knuck and Ms Liza Jane especially shined. Their vocals gave me goosebumps on goosebumps. Shout out to dancer and chorus member Niki Saludez, whose energy and soaring exuberance was a stand out on the stage. Set design was also brilliant. Thank you to all for bringing us this experience."

The best show I’ve seen on Broadway!
"Please make this show into a movie so I can watch it as often as possible with the cast that preformed on March 9th, 2025. The scene with Ali (Maleah Joi Moon) and her father, Davis playing on the piano and singing is one I’d like to see over and over again. The message is powerful. You truly understand that every single moment is a blessing and life should be about the journey, the love, the difficulties that are the lessons needed along the way, and NOT the material things.
If you can only have that kind of interaction with a loved one, it can be enough to last your lifetime even if it wasn’t the best relationship. You’ll never forget it and it because it helps define you. That’s what this Broadway show did for me.
It was Brandon Victor Dixon’s last performance. What a blessing for me to have seen it with him performing. He has such charisma and an amazing stage presence. Who will ever be able to replace him?
Alicia Keys has her priorities clearly established by this ENGAGING, most fulfilling show. Thank you for sharing your talent and non-material gift with us.
