Masterpiece of Musical Theatre
"I didn't want to see another Juke Box Musical so this was way down on my list, but I am so very grateful that I changed my mind. There were enough AK songs that I did not know which made it feel like an original music show. The understudy for Ali, Gianna was so fantastic, I can't even imagine anyone being better at the role. All the singers were amazing, and I loved that there was some real dancing in the show. The harmonies were gorgeous, the story was strong and relatable, and the show made me feel so much. We laughed and we cried. I was awestruck! This is MT at its best!"

Ali has to learn how to overcome a great loss, grow up in a neighborhood such as Hell’s Kitchen and grow up with an absent father, these are key elements that factor into the telling of this story and should be an inspiration for everyone.
