"Husband and I came in with mid-expectations … we love the music Alicia Keyes produces, but wasn’t sure how it would translate into a musical. We’ve seen a lot of musicals, and this was easily our favorite. The music was spectacular as a musical, the story was solid, and there were very creative bits that had me on the edge of my seat. While all the singers were FANTASTIC, the stand out was the woman who played Alicia’s piano teacher. She brought me to tears numerous times with her performance. Completely blown away."

800 miles to Hells Kitchen
"I traveled 400 miles twice to see Hells Kitchen. Once in July 2024 and in January 2025. It’s amazing. I returned with my husband. He too thoroughly enjoyed the performance. The writing, the singing and the dancing is engaging. At times, the actors emoted their feelings so strongly that I was moved to tears. The music and the performances are uplifting and; at times, emotionally riveting. For patrons who are considering bringing young children, profanity is used, the F bomb 💣 is dropped several times. Kudos to the entire cast, crew and orchestra for an outstanding show. "

Makes your heart soar
"I am an Alicia Keys fan and love her songs—many of her well known ones are woven into the story. So many of the cast members have incredible voices and hold their notes so long it makes your heart soar along with them. All five main characters are fantastic. The storyline is good but it is the music that is the heart of the production. The musicians are tip top. I forgot to mention that the dancers are great too—lots of energy and diversity and higher quality than another play we saw on Broadway within the past year. Great night!!"

"I loved the singing, dancing, plot, stage design and the band. It was a vibe for sure!
The only thing I did not enjoy was the seats of the venue. They were very uncomfortable despite my great seating location that I paid for. Thank goodness this Musical was awesome because had it not been exceptional I would have been very uncomfortable and disappointed.
