One of the Best Shows I’ve Seen
"“Hell’s Kitchen” drew me in from start to finish. The characters felt real and multi-dimensional, and were likable in spite of, and sometimes because of, their imperfections. The show has many layers - mother-daughter relationship, first love, racial issues, loss and grief, finding your place in the world - but does not beat you over the head with any of them, allowing you to care because the characters care. The music and choreography tell much of the story, as well, with songs and voices that are sweet, wistful, passionate, or powerful, as the situation calls for, and dancing that is lyrical, organic, and beautiful - an extension of the scene rather than something that has been tacked onto it. I left the theater feeling inspired, moved, and deeply satisfied. I highly recommend “Hell’s Kitchen”, and hope that I will have the chance to see it again."

Incredible voices
"While I would’ve loved Alicia Keys herself, the singing gave me goosebumps and not just from the lead playing Alicia but the whole cast. My wife who is not crazy about musicals also thoroughly enjoyed the show. Admittedly, I’m not crazy about performances that sound too “broadway” but didn’t get that feel here. Songs were right in line with what you’d expect from Alicia Keys. Interesting coming of age storyline but the clear draw is the voices and songs so if you like Alicia Keys and/or that type of music then you will love this show. "

"Everything about this musical will lift your heart. Of course the music of Alicia Keys alone should be a reason to see this show. Hits Every Emotion!
"I have seen many shows in my lifetime but I have to say this was definitely in my top TWO. It touched every emotion. The voices were gorgeous and the choreography excellent. There was nothing I did not love about this performance. My three friends felt the same way. We all walked out of the theater with smiles on our faces and raved the entire way home.
