"The cast of this show (and we saw the understudy for the lead) were high energy and incredibly talented. There are many layers to this story. It deals with many aspects of different types of relationships, i.e. parental, mentor, friends, love, etc. 4 of us went together to see it and we each had very different responses, some emotional and some intellectual. "The show was exceptional, incorporating Alicia Keys' famous tunes into her historical background. "This show was outstanding! The music was amazing. The mix of classic songs with new music was so entertaining. There was never a dull moment. The story line had an element of innocence mixed with youthful reality checks that serve as a great conversation starter between parents and their teens.
