Hell's Kitchen is on Fire!
"While Broadway has been good the past few years, Hell's Kitchen was outstanding! Great story of Alicia Keys as a 17 year old girl that led to her inspiration as one of the most amazing performers in our lifetime!
Maleah Joi Moon certainly deserved the Tony for best actress in a musical. Her electric presence as Ali was mesmerizing on stage and captivated the audience with her singing and acting.
Kecia Lewis was powerful in both acting and singing as Miss Lizzie Jane and also deserved her Tony for featured actress!
Overall, ALL acting and singing performances we were outstanding as well as the dancing team ensemble!
This was Broadway at its best! GO see it now!.."

"I loved the Alicia Keyes music and the performances, especially Tony winner actress who plays her piano teacher Liza Jane was magnificent. I also enjoyed the hip hop dancing, but sometimes the dancers were added to scenes that didn't make sense. I don't recommend young children because of the swearing. "

Great mother-daughter story
"More than anything, this was a beautiful story about a mother and daughter trying to navigate her daughter's transition to adulthood, and how similar stories are passed down to each generation. In the end, we're all looking to be known, understood, and loved. Hell's Kitchen: The Title Says It All.
"This was a very good production about Alicia Keys' life when she was 17 years old. Although it's a musical, with outstanding dancers and extremely talented vocalists, many of her life struggles, at that time, are not to be overlooked such as: teenage rebellion, needing guidance & structure, boy/girls relationships, wanting to be liked, her relationship with her mother, experiencing the struggles of a single/working mom, an absent father, etc. But underneath it all was an extremely talented young girl who would emerge as a outstanding and worldwide 21st century female artist and performer. It's a production, not to be missed and highly recommended for young and old."

"The voices of the cast was fantastic and the dancing was well choreographed. I was a bit disappointed by the frequency of the language. I know all about Hell's Kitchen and the rough neighborhood that is portrayed but I do not understand why every show I attend has to use the F-bomb in it's dialogue. People will laugh at funny scenes without have to curse to get their attention."
