"I think I saw the movie when it came out 25 years ago. Not sure but for whatever reason I never had a desire to see the B'way version. But my 18yo daughter and I are B'way groupies, we were here over the holidays and saw 7 B'way shows in 6 days including seeing Hadestown AGAIN WITH Jordan Fisher. So when we heard he would be starring in Moulin we HAD to buy tix and we were totally BLOWN AWAY by the show!! Loved it!! Boy George and Solea Pfeiffer were also AWESOME!! "From the start until the finish, I was memorized. Boy George is fabulous! I was at the 2pm showing and even though Satine was played by the understudy, it was awesome. Her voice was beautiful and Christian was great too. They were so good together, I didn't want it to end. The encore by the entire cast was really cool at the end too, especially when Boy George sang a couple stanzas from two of his hits! That made my day. I would pay to see this play again, definitely.
