Very funny show
"Really enjoyed The Play That Goes Wrong. The set-up is simple: an unskilled group of actors tries to put on a murder mystery, and everything that can go wrong does (a little meta; the actors performing were actually very good, it took extra talent to make the things that went wrong work so well).
My wife and daughter (13) enjoyed the performance as well. Laughed about as hard as at a good stand-up comedy show. Definitely recommend."

Laugh-Out-Loud, Non-Stop
"I have never laughed so hard in a theatre. The Play That Goes Wrong is brilliantly timed chaos; physical comedy, razor-sharp writing, and performances that are flawlessly “wrong.” It’s clever, ridiculous, and relentlessly funny. My face hurt from laughing. Absolute must-see."
"What a hysterical show and what talented performers. Their spontaneous interaction with the audience and each other really shows their talent, skill, passion, dedication, and love for the show. Loved everything about this show. "

Favorite play, and has been for several years
"I have seen this play several times, bc i take all my out of town visitors to it, and each has loved it. My latest visitors were a family from Italy, and they, too, really enjoyed it and had many "laugh out loud" moments. The play is silly and funny and very well done. At Christmas last year, i gave tickets to the show to my architect and his wife and teenage daughter. He said that while the first 15 minutes made him smile, after that, he said that his family had never laughed so much together and had so much fun. What's better than that?"

Extremely funny from beginning to end
"The cast did an outstanding job. Took entire family to celebrate wife’s Birthday and New Year. Couldn’t have asked for a better choice. Play was engaging, with non stop laughter from beginning to end. I was sorry when it was over. Would definitely recommend to anyone to see. Smaller venue but made it that more personal. "

This play is as right as wrong can be.
"It starts out a little confusing but once you get what’s happening it’s a laugh and half. The actors are hilarious and their physicality unmatched. Be sure to be early to this show. A lot happens before it even ‘starts’. "

We need to laugh.
"Okay, yes it is a silly comedy. But I love silly. And I love to laugh out loud, which I did frequently throughout the show. And so did many others. Right now, being silly and laughing, is great medicine. Thank you for providing it."

Funny and entertaining for all
"First when you get the playbill the printing is off and not aligned on the cover. That is the beginning of two hours of laughing. I haven’t laughed that hard and that long in a long time. The players worked really well together. The plot of the show was well written. To get full scale of jokes make sure you are sitting center stage. All the seats are excellent but there may be blocked views if sitting on the sides. Oh and the stage hands are the best!"

Delightful entertainment
"This was a great combination of dry, British humor and slapstick. The actors were great with physical comedy and deadpan expressions. The play moved easily along, with no lags and the audience laughed at every silly move. It was just the kind of light, funny experience needed during these trying times. I thoroughly enjoyed it."

About
The Play That Goes Wrong
Welcome to opening night of the Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society’s newest production, The Murder at Haversham Manor. This 1920s whodunit has everything you never wanted in a Broadway show—a ramshackle set, a leading lady with a concussion, and a corpse that can’t play dead. It’s a classic murder mystery… and it’s a mystery how it ever got to Broadway!
