Intellectually Engaging

"PROOF was intellectually engaging. The pace was a bit challenging, slow at times, moving at other times, with build-ups right before the ending of a scene. The transitions left you questioning, what's next. The 4 member cast of EDEBIRI, CHEADLE, HA, and YOUNG did an AWESOME and creative job in telling the story. It would have been good if the PLAYBILL actually had a description of what "PROOF" was about. One of the primary reasons for seeing the play, was that it was co-produced by President and First Lady Obama. I look forward to seeing more plays with their level of involvement and backing. Magnificent!

"I saw the original on Broadway with Mary Louise Parker, who I love and enjoyed it very much. I went to see this production because I love Don Cheadle and Kara Young. But Ayo Edebiri, who I recognized from The Bear was incredible too! And I'd never heard of Jin Ha, but he also is incredible. This production was fantastic from the first moment and was riveting all the way through. These actors are so polished that their bodily gestures were as good as their lines. I see lots of Broadway and Proof is right at the top of the list! Don't miss it!!!!"

A Brilliant Story About Family, Genius, and Love

"Proof was exceptional. I attended with my 29-year-old daughter, who holds a Ph.D., and we both appreciated the wonderfully geeky humor woven throughout the story. The mathematics and intellectual banter were entertaining, but what stayed with us was the father-daughter relationship at the heart of the play. It was beautifully written, emotionally authentic, and deeply moving. The entire cast delivered strong performances, but the actress portraying Katie was extraordinary. She carried the emotional weight of the production with remarkable depth, vulnerability, intelligence, and subtle humor. It was a performance that never felt forced and remained compelling from beginning to end. Whether you have a love for mathematics or not, Proof is ultimately about family, identity, grief, trust, and the complicated bond between a father and daughter. Proof was amazing!

"Proof was an amazing experience. Although Don Cheadle and Adrienne Warren were unavailable, I still felt the emotional impact from Thomas Silcott and Shayvawn Webster’s performances (respectively). Ayo and Jin’s performances were electrical and fully engaging. The set design was beautiful and the lighting carried the story perfectly. I loved Proof!"
