Don’t miss these performances
"This is apparently a revival of which I was unaware. The acting in this production was superb. Ayo gave a very convincing portrayal of a young woman of high intelligence, fiercely loyal to her father, with a little crazy in her. Her movements and twitching and inability to stay still were incredibly believable. There was endearing humor and love while portraying what appeared to be a simple person who was in fact super intelligent. Why she wasn’t nominated for a tony is beyond me. Let me not take away from the other 3 actors including Don Cheadle. They were all suberb as well. Highly recommend seeing this with current cast. "

An Amazing revival of Proof...it delivers!
"An intelligent and gripping drama. The story is deep and touching. The characters are complex, vulnerable, and funny.
The cast is strong. Each character stands out and is very well cast for their role. The size of the theater makes it very intimate, and it pulls you into the story-you're lost in their lives, listening to each word and watching their every emotion..I left with a little tear in my eye and left wanting to hug Catherine. Very very well done..different than my last Broadway show...something I would like to see more of. "

LOVED IT.
"Proof spoke to my experience of being a caregiver for a parent with dementia (although that wasn't the illness of the father). But it also spoke volumes on how society can be so judgemental on someone's abilities based on age, gender, and choice of education institutions. For example, a Harvard student/graduate is expected to be more intelligent than a CUNY student/graduate. Proof brought that way of thinking to light. Proof delivered a witty humor and it will also make you think twice before underestimating someone based on age, gender, and education (or for any reason)."

"All four characters in the play were outstanding. Their performances were flawless. They displayed a range of emotions, including genuine affection, disappointment, grief and anger, as well as humor. The set design was simple, yet effective, with good use of lighting to signal changes in time. I had loved Ayo Edebiri through all four seasons of "The Bear" and was excited to meet her again as Catherine. I will remember both characters for a long time."
