All I Could Ask For!
"Ragtime is my favorite musical, so it's no surprise this production had me in tears from the word "go." The sets were just enough to give your mind a framework and the lighting was spectacular. From the costumes to the incredible actors, nothing disappointed. "I was on the fence about going to see Ragtime but hearing Whoopi Goldberg rave about it made my decision easier. So glad I listened. From the moment the lights went down, I was hooked. So many moving parts, the production aspect alone was out of this world but the performances were phenomenal. A once in a lifetime experience of a timeless show
"I’ve been a longtime fan of ragtime since seeing it as my high school musical in the early 2000’s. I always knew I would see it whenever it came back to broadway. I’ve been excited ever since hearing last year that it would be back on Broadway and hearing who would be in the cast had me even more enthusiastic. Ragtime is a sweeping musical adaption of E.L. Doctorow’s novel that follows three fictional families in pursuit of the American Dream at the dawn of the 20th Century: Black pianist Coalhouse Walker, Jr. and his beloved Sarah, Jewish immigrant Tateh and his little girl, and a wealthy white family led by matriarch Mother.
