Majestic production of Ragtime
"This is a stunning production of Ragtime.
All of the cast is magnificent, from Joshua Henry, Caissie Levy and Brandon Uranowitz down to the supporting cast. Julie Benko, Ben Levi Ross and Nichelle Lewis were all wonderful in supporting roles. Don’t miss the opening number. Also, Nick Barrington and Ellie May Sennett are perfect as the Little Boy and the Little Girl.
As for children, I would say it’s appropriate for age 11 and up due to serious storylines.

"I originally saw this 30 years ago and it is one I kept asking Broadway to bring back. The emotions this show generates through the music, performances, characters and the story is overwhelming. "Lincoln Center Theatre's "Ragtime," is spectacular. At Tony Award time, it should be in contention for several awards, particularly for the superb performances by Joshua Henry, Brandon Uranowitz, Nichelle Lewis and Ben Levi-Ross, choreography by Ellenore Scott and direction by Lear DeBessonet. The production aspects of the show - scenic design, costume design, lighting design, sound design - are superb, creating a perfect tableau for the era in which the show take place. The show was WONDERFUL
"The music was captivating.. Joshua Henry & Nichelle Lewis have stunning, powerful voices!! While I was not able to capture all the lyrics, the storyline was quite clear.. their voices were so wonderful, full of emotion, I was brought to tears at one point in the play.. In such a difficult era of our country, I so wished that the characters belief in hope for the future would have come to fruition by now!! Sadly, we still have alot of work to do..I brought my 16 yr old granddaughter to see the play; a good age to reinforce inclusivity!"

Historical and entertaining
"The music and singing were spectacular. I saw the show when it first came out decades ago and it's still wonderful and enlightening today. The leads all had fabulous voices, especially Sarah and her husband, and JP Morgan's wife and her second husband. There were several fabulous child actors as well. The set was very creative and realistic. Every seat in the house was a good one. I esp'ly liked that the theater had free and easily accessible lockers in the hallway for patrons' coats, so that there was plenty of room to be comfortable in our seats w/o waiting a long time or having to pay to drop off or pick up our winter coats."

Ragtime
Ragtime is a sweeping musical adaption of E.L.
