Majestic production of Ragtime
"This is a stunning production of Ragtime.
All of the cast is magnificent, from Joshua Henry, Caissie Levy and Brandon Uranowitz down to the supporting cast. Julie Benko, Ben Levi Ross and Nichelle Lewis were all wonderful in supporting roles. Don’t miss the opening number. Also, Nick Barrington and Ellie May Sennett are perfect as the Little Boy and the Little Girl.
As for children, I would say it’s appropriate for age 11 and up due to serious storylines.

Ragtime
Ragtime is a sweeping musical adaption of E.L. Doctorow’s novel that follows three fictional families in pursuit of the American Dream at the dawn of the 20th Century: Black pianist Coalhouse Walker, Jr. and his beloved Sarah, Jewish immigrant Tateh and his little girl, and a wealthy white family led by matriarch Mother.
