"If you enjoy a good musical, you will absolutely love this! The vocals were top-notch. The acting and singing is professional and moving. All these people could be huge singing, sensations or movie stars in their own right. If you’re a fan of the lost boys movie, this is a must see! It’s the heart of the story from the movie with a couple little changes for theater. But it was flashback after flashback remembering the best parts of the movie.
The technical special effects are perfect! People flying all around the stage movie magic live in front of your eyes, disappearing acts. The way they use the stage was perfect as well. Raising and lowering things into the floor and changing the set constantly with ease that you hardly noticed what was going on. It was just like a movie come to life.
There’s not enough good things I can say about it, I would watch it over and over again.

Nostalgic and new!
"The Lost Boys was the first Broadway show I’ve seen in a long time where I knew nothing about the cast or music — went purely based on my love of ‘80s movie kitsch. The modular set design is dynamite and the special effects are a wild ride. Most of the cast have great voices and a few of the songs are actually memorable. The best part is that the directors stay pretty true to the storyline, yet deviate just enough to make it feel fresh and relevant to today. Like the movie, the musical also doesn’t take itself too seriously, making it a ton of fun. And the silly grin that my wife had on her face from the opening scene to the closing cliffhanger made the whole show absolutely worth it. Five stars; will definitely recommend."

"I never wiped the smile off my face the whole time I sat there. It was so much fun. I am a fan of the movie but my husband never really was and he also loved it. My teen daughter wants to go again. :). This may not be a show for the very young but it should be fine for most preteen/teens. The music was great and it was equal parts humor, tenderness, and horror. Oh, and the theater seats were actually comfortable. That has been difficult to find in theater. 5 stars."

Less than 48 hours in NYC
"Less that 48 hours for a girls trip, and it was all of our first time in NYC. We were determined to soak up everything we could in the weekend and seeing a Broadway show was an absolute must… and WOW, did The Lost Boys deliver?!?!
From the moment the show started, we were hooked. The acting? Incredible. The set? Next level (literally, the multi level scenes were so cool). And the lighting and special effects made everything feel almost cinematic.
We laughed, we cried, we cheered; it was an emotional night! It wasn’t just a show, it was a full-on experience and a joint highlight of our entire trip.

"We traveled from South Carolina to New York City to see The Lost Boys Broadway preview, and it was worth every mile—honestly, we’d do it all again, even if it meant walking the whole way. This was the very first Broadway show for both my 19-year-old daughter and me, and it could not have been a better introduction. We truly “cut our teeth” on this one and now we’re completely hooked.
From the opening moments, the show pulls you in. The characters are so well developed and genuinely lovable that you find yourself rooting for all of them—yes, even the vampires. There’s a perfect balance of humor, heart, and edge that keeps you fully engaged throughout.
The costumes were absolutely spot on, enhancing not just the look of the characters but the overall tone and energy of the production. Every detail felt intentional and added to the storytelling.
One of the most impressive elements was the staging. The sheer number of stairs the actors navigate throughout the performance is incredible, yet they move with such ease and control it almost seems effortless.
