The idea itself of taking the iconic 80s horror comedy and bringing it to the stage was risky and bold enough to begin with. To do it justice while giving it a fresh take was going to not only take great music and fantastic actors... I knew the set would have to be something completely unique. And it was - the most inventive I have ever seen!!! Being very familiar with the storyline and having a degree in theater means I had some ideas about how they might be able to pull certain scenes off... but have to say the show exceed every expectations one every level! The music is at times instantly singable and other times will give you complete chills down your spine. The actors are EXACTLY the right ones for their parts, equipped with incredible vocal talents and know how to use them to their maximum. Especially charismatic is of course David the rockstar (nice twist, and Ali deserves ALL the awards!!) and mom Shoshana tugs at your heartstrings with her musings over her life choices... tissues are a good idea. Also happy to report diction was not a problem, can I say that because what good is a beautiful melody if you cannot make out the what the actors are singing to each other? More than l can say about another show l recently saw where l wished for a rolling CC! 15/10, would watch again probably that many times, and won't shut up about it!! "

"I went in knowing very little...all I knew was that the show took place in the 80s and it involved vampires. The talent was top notch. The set...amazing and just wow! The actors, the singing, the dancing, the flying...speechless! The plot line...I won't spoil it but you won't be disappointed. It's a must watch. "We were really impressed with the show. First, the Palace Theater is nice. Fairly spacious with newer bathrooms and common areas. Staff were friendly and helpful. "First off, I loved the movie. I have watched it too many times to count. The soundtrack is etched in my mind. This was possibly the best adaptation that could be created and the new music was awesome; the energy was palpable. I missed grandpa and therefore the penultimate quote from the movie seemed forced.
