Wonderful staging, strong performances, uplifting story
"After watching the movie the night before, I was familiar with the story and was looking forward to how they would stage some of the more dramatic scenes. I was very pleased with how effective the stagecraft was to convey the story. The music and lyrics were excellent and made the characters more three dimensional. Really strong performances from Dallas and the oldest Curtis brother. Very moving ending. Not sure I would recommend it for children under 12, but it would be an excellent vehicle to discuss some great topics with teenagers."

Life Changing!
"I may be biased because The Outsiders is my all time favorite book, but this show was life changing for me! Everything about it is amazing! It does have some language in it, so keep that in mind if you don't want your kids to hear certain words, but it felt more realistic that way. They are Greasers, after all. You have to see this! Especially if you had to read the book in middle school and ended up loving it. "

"I flew 3000 miles to see this show after listening to the album for almost a year. It was everything I hoped for and much more. The creative directing, the amazing singing and acting, the energetic and exciting choreography, the dramatic lighting, the poignant, tragic, yet heartfelt and profound story. I could find absolutely nothing to complain about. I was excited to be able to see most of the original cast I had been listening to for so long. Even when there were technical difficulties and Dally had to sing "Little Brother" without a mic and they stopped the show to fix the problem -- the actors came back after the break and picked up like nothing was wrong! It was amazing. Loved, loved, LOVED, this show and if I was able, I would watch it over and over. I hope it tours to Seattle so I can see it again!"
