A trip down memory lane
"I read this book when I was in junior high school. I related to the title and I carried Ponyboy and Johnny in my heart since then. To see this story come to life with song and dance, was phenomenal. I had a lump in my throat the entire time. The cast, fabulous with bringing this story to life. I resonated with seeing all of the performers of color. A new version that was important to see. The singing from the cast is definitely what I found myself clutching my heart. It touched the soul.

True to original story - incredible technical
"My daughter and I both loved this show and felt that it lived up to the hype and was deserving of the Tonys received. INCREDIBLE technical elements, very moving scenes and true to the original story. There were some intensely emotional scenes-if you plan to see it and haven’t seen clips, avoid watching ahead of time to experience it purely. Highly recommend!!!
My daughter is a Stage Mgmt student and appreciated the time and effort that must be involved for the stage crew to have to reset the stage in between shows. She always watches through the lens of the crew/stage manager’s perspective and it’s fascinating to me."

"I read the Outsiders in 8th grade English class 1986 and it was GREAT! After we finished the book we watched the movie and it was FANTASTIC!!! The Outsiders on Broadway... WILL BLOW YOUR MIND!!! If you are an Outsiders fan like me or you don't know the first thing about the Outsiders you will see the writing, talent level of the cast, choreography, and stage sets will take you OUT of the Bernard B Jacobs Theatre and into Tulsa OK 1967! I cannot express the TALENT that the entire cast has! The performance will resonate in your mind, heart, and soul! DO NOT HESITATE TO SEE THIS SHOW! You'll be sad if you do. ;-)
Note- Our show had Trevor Wayne playing Ponyboy and Josh Strobl as Johnny Cade. This was my first time seeing the play and they were standing in for Brody Grant and Sky Lakota-Lynch... but Trevor and Josh CRUSHED their performances as did everyone!!!"
