Even better the 2nd time
"This show keeps improving. Saw it in early previews. The energy of the young cast was infectious. 9 months later, they've aged like fine wine, with a better chemistry and more synchronized choreography for some complicated scenes. Truly a wonderful experience for fans of the book/movie & Broadway!"

Excellent Show
"I tried to read the book as a middle schooler but just could not get into it so I did not know the storyline or what to expect at all. The pace of the play was good and it crescendos nicely. I found myself crying at the end. My only complaint was the seating. We sat upstairs. If you can get downstairs or box seats, I recommend that. "

One of the best musicals, period.
"The performances in Outsiders were phenomenal. The depth & breadth of new talent was impressive. It joins Hamilton & Wicked as best musicals of all time; I saw original cast of both. Dancing and storytelling inspiring. My husband, son & daughter in law all adored. "

Inside scoop on the "Outsiders"
"Powerful performance that exposes the cruelty of class differences and the power plays of entitled teenagers. All the dreams, passions, and expectations of youth challenged each step of the way. A stirring performance by a very talented ensemble."

First Broadway show
"My fave book when I was younger. I saw it with my 14 year old and 11 year old. We all loved it. Watching the movie first with my 11 year old was really helpful so that she understood the story. I don’t have anything to compare it to, but thought it was excellent. "

WOW!!!
"The talent on that stage was second to none! We loved the music, and the technical surprises were just awesome (especially with a rather simplistic set). I doubted a few things that were portrayed since the setting was 1967, but it didn’t take away from the amazing production. I want to go again!!! "

About
The Outsiders
The winner of the Tony Award® for Best Musical is The Outsiders. This classic coming-of-age story takes you to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1967, where Ponyboy Curtis, his best friend Johnny Cade, and their family of Greaser “outsiders” dream about who they want to become in a world that will never accept them. The Outsiders features a “tuneful and soul-bearing” (New York Stage Review) original score, “high-octane choreography” (New York Magazine), and a “sensational young cast” (The Wall Street Journal) that brings the show to life.
