Brush Up Before Hand
"I walked into this show at the recommendation of my Gen XZ daughter, (who had seen it and loved it,) with very little information apart from what I could discern from the title. (I am a 60-something, open-minded and fairly well acquainted w Broadway theater.) While I was game for the experience, it took me a little bit to get my bearings. This is to say that the humor was drawn largely from pop culture and mostly geared toward the Under 35 set. However, that really didn't detract much from the whole zany, free-wheeling experience. This is an exceptionally talented cast in every regard, from their wildly impressive vocal talents, to their relentless energy and their collective enthusiasm for mining every bit of comedy gold out of every possible moment. While I might be tempted to single out individual cast members, in this case I really can't because they're each so good on their own and as a collective. I'll add that, although it's not a requirement to enjoy the show, I kind of wish I'd re-watched Titanic (I saw it once when it first hit theaters) and brushed up on my Celine Dione. I'm not much of a fan of her musical stylings, but seeing her being sent up by people who clearly admire her but also get what's sort of funny about her would have been enhanced had I boned up a little on her music. This musical is a well wrought satire of a genre that often takes itself too seriously with a phenomenally talented cast. The humor is dominated by racy LGBTQ+ themes, so if that rubs you the wrong way, look elsewhere for your amusement. If you enjoy kookiness and laughter as well as some great musical performances, then definitely yes. "

Campy
"I felt it was well done. The audience was very engaged, enjoying the production. I think those who like “campy” especially appreciated it."

Hilarious and campy!
"Very funny. I laughed tons, and the campy, drag show vibe was perfect for Pride month. The sex references and props (eggplant dildo) were bit over the top for my 13 year old. I was laughing really hard (no pun intended) but felt like a bad parent for doing so. "

Titanique sinks and swims
"The show is a parody, I get it but some of the material ( and if I’m being honest) some of the acting is over the top. Some parts hit, some missed and to many were overdone to a point of cringeworthyness. I think more work to tighten the content would have gone a long way. Still it was a fun nighy"

Absurd!
"A little far fetched. Good in places, over the top in others. "
